Samantha CC

The Great BE, or The Great Black Expanse is Samantha CC's curatorial project that centers artists of the African Diaspora. It is both a performance and video series and a print zine. The idea is to be a platform and a gathering point for black artists whose creativity leads them outside of the boxes that the art world can often place black creators in. Blackness is ever expanding, and black identity manifests in many shapes and forms. The Great BE encourages the courageous exploration of these pathways.  These photos are from the most recent show that focused on the theme of "Abundance."
